Do we have to hike?

Potentially - and that's part of the fun. My work is intentionally centered around wild and natural locations, some of which require a short or moderate hike. I'll always give you the details ahead of time so you know what you're getting into.

What if my kids don't cooperate?

Perfect. Seriously. We're not here to manufacture perfect behavior. Kids can run, explore, play, take breaks, and be themselves. I'll work with whatever they bring that day.

Do you photograph in traditional locations?

Absolutely, when it makes sense. But my heart is really in wild places and meaningful landscapes. Adventuring will take us to some of my favorite places around Northern Virginia, West Virginia, & Maryland, in natures most stunning settings.

Do you pose people?

I'll guide you, but I don't want you spending your session staring at me. I'll give you prompts, movement, and direction when needed, then let you interact naturally.

Think earthly, neutral, textured, movement-friendly, timeless. I'll help you with wardrobe guidance before your session.

What happens if it rains?

Oh, but what if it does!? Wouldn't that be special! Sometimes the weather gives us the most incredible photographs. Moody skies are my favorite. We'll make the call together depending on conditions. If we need to reschedule, we'll find another day.
